A digital home for readers and authors
TomeBay brings together legally free reading, thoughtful book discovery, and a publishing marketplace where authors can reach readers.
Our Story
TomeBay began with a simple idea: books should be easier to discover, access, and share.
We are building a digital book platform with two connected experiences. Readers can find legally free books, build personal libraries, and explore stories and ideas from around the world. Authors can submit their work, publish approved books, and sell directly through the platform.
The product is starting with a focused foundation: excellent discovery, comfortable reading, personal libraries, and a clear publishing workflow. The current app is in testing as we develop that broader vision.
Built around access, discovery, and trust
Accessible
We want legally free literature to be easier to find, read, and return to.
Creator-friendly
We are creating a straightforward route from manuscript to review, publication, and readership.
Rights-respecting
Books should be shared only when TomeBay has the legal right to distribute them.
A global home for books
Our vision is to help readers discover literature by genre, author, language, country, and theme, while giving authors the tools to publish, reach readers, and earn from their work. TomeBay can grow from a free digital library into a broader ecosystem for e-books, audiobooks, physical books, and other reading services.
